Phoebe and the Night Creatures are not your average party band. They are a group of Melbourne’s finest jazz, funk and soul musicians. They have decades of experience playing at leading venues, festivals and events. In fact, it was at these gigs that they were approached to perform at weddings and corporate events. From there, there was no turning back!
Fast forward 7 years and Phoebe and the Night Creatures are one of the most sought after event bands in Melbourne and beyond. With an impressive song list of over 190 songs, they will make you laugh, make you cry, have you tapping your feet and hitting the dance floor.

Phoebe Dubar brings laughs, funk and passion to the group as lead singer and soulstress. She has decades of music experience as a singer and performer.
Her talent was evident very early when her classical singing teacher suggested she learn jazz after witnessing her improvisation and songwriting ability. Phoebe remembers loving music from very early in her life. ‘I remember being 3 or 4 years old and playing a 3 stringed guitar with a chopstick (as a bow) like a violin. Music has always been in my life’.
Inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone and Erykah Badu, Phoebe and her band will take you on a journey through genres and eras. From Justin Timberlake to the Rolling Stones, Frank Ocean to Marvin Gaye, they will cater to every age group, taste and mood.
